There was nothing sexual between Dean and Castiel. Plus, according to the show, angels are junkless. Or has everyone for that and sex is the whole point of homosexuality. It was confirmed by Jensen on twitter that it was a love confession. Love vs homosexual love. 2 different things. A gay angel is just psycho, even for Supernatural.
